Un Jour, a Peyrassol Restaurant in Paris' 2nd arrondissement close to the Bourse, proudly displays its historical connection with the Knights Templar by the crimson cross it proudly displays out front. Peyrassol Commanderie in Provence, which is the best embassy of theirs, was established in 1256 and has been making lovely and limited wines for many centuries. The restaurant is a beautiful representation of antiquity. It has vaulted rooms, exposed brick walls, barrel-staved tasting bars, rustic wood tables, and chairs. There's also utterly sleek acrylic seating and walls with photos of the countryside. The menu focuses on Provence cuisine and black truffles. It offers a variety of dishes including mache, goat cheese, truffle salad, prawns served with fork-mashed potatoes, scrambled egg with winter truffles, and dark chocolate cake. You can choose from red, white, and rose Peyrassol wine, as well as many other items in the shop.
